The Ormulum is a twelfth century biblical exegesis created by someone who was named Orm, or Ormin. The work was written on low quality parchment, in a dense and untidy hand, filled with corrections and marginalia. It's the archetypal kind of work I find myself making: incomplete, messy, but hopefully interesting. A productive ruin.
